Ministry Teams

The Children are very active in the life of the church. We focus on meeting the needs of children to help them grow as disciples of Jesus. They meet on Sunday morning for Sunday school, Wednesday evening for Bible Study and Children’s Church on Sunday. They participate in worship on the 4th Sunday in each month through dance, skits and recitals. They have scheduled times for supervised outings for Sunday morning breakfast and study. They are constantly learning and are involved in special Christian holidays and other activities.

The youth group is a growing ministry. We focus on cultivating discipline to engage the youth in Christian practices that will help them develop a relationship with God. They gather to study, share life experiences and learn spiritually in an environment that focuses on issues that are challenging for young Christians. They assist the pastor with serving Communion on the first Sunday and are involved in numerous workshops internally and externally that focus on issues of concern. View Images.

Our young adults are on fire for the Lord. We empower and provide resources for them to grow in faith, set priorities and follow practices that allow them to walk with Christ in their daily life. On the 4th Sunday of each month, they take a very active role in leading the worship service. They sing, pray and speak. Generally they invite a guest speaker in to deliver the morning message. They are engaged in community activities and participate with other young adult Christian groups. They are engaged in studies that will encourage and strengthen their faith as young and new Christians.

Seniors meet periodically for fun, fellowship and biblical studies to share their faith and spiritual journey with friends. The Senior Adult Coordinator organizes and provides programs that will be of interest to the senior members of the church.
